Do you think that stamping "Do Not Duplicate" on a key will stop duplication? If you do you may have a false sense of security. There is nothing legally stopping anyone from duplicating that key. That's where high security keys and cylinders come in. With a high security lock unauthorized duplication of keys is prohibited. What does this get you? Say an employee quits. If you get their key back you know they only had the one key and you don't need to rekey your locks. Which saves you money! Another example is that someone loses a key.
